What are any good future technology books or how may I learn more about it?
I am really interested in technological advancements and would really like a book to read that mentions about future technologies or current technologies.
Therefore I ask if you have read any good books about technology.
I’ve heard a bit about Nicholas Negroprontes book about future technologies but it was written near 15 years ago so it mightn’t be so relevant.
If not a particular book, how did you get into technology?
Thanks in Advance!
Rule number one:

Magazines like Popular Science are a good place to start.
There are a number a "Futurologists" who think about such things. Perhaps you could start with:
Peter Cochrane

Popular Science and Popular Electronics are good magazines to read about technology.
Discovery Magazine is also good.

Go to a good bookstore and browse in the "Technical Magazines" section and I am sure you will find something. Magazines can provide more up to date info than books.
