talk about ignorant …
talk about ignorant. you are pathetic. bah-bye. done with you.
what children dont …
what children dont need are emotional traditionalists like yourself. Unfortunately we will always have people like you that want to stop learning and educational progress and keep it hidden in the dark ages. I know of many children that have been taught through power teaching and they love it and yes they are very much individuals. Grow up and please stay out of the classroom.
I feel for you but …
I feel for you but mainly for any students that might have you as a teacher. Best to you. I have better things to do…such as, plan sound, differentiated instruction that will meet the individual needs of the children, NOT ROBOTS in my class
“all learning is …
“all learning is brainwashing” exactly, and power teaching is learning.
“If I beat the kids …
“If I beat the kids over the head for ten minutes a day, would it be ok” calm yourself down. You are ranting like an emotional hyperactive. No one is beating anyone over the head. Your language choice indicates your ignorance.
wow. all learning …
wow. all learning is brainwashing. that’s a good one. what do you do for a living?
Clearly you don’t ” …
Clearly you don’t “get it.” Hope you don’t teach young children. If I beat the kids over the head for ten minutes a day, would it be ok because it was just one of my little techniques that I use throughout the day??????????
this teacher doesnt …

all learning is ” …
all learning is “brainwashing” – homeschooling included
This is not …
This is not learning its brainwashing!!!! this scares me and makes me want to home school my children
As a kindergarten …
As a kindergarten teacher, I understand her intention but she and they seem VERY robotic to me. Scary. Does she teach them to think at all by any chance? Have opinions? Care? Express themselves and their personalities? Does she get to know the students, their interests and learning styles and plan from there or simply robotic teach all day every day? Horrified. Would she want her child in this class?
After the truck …
After the truck driver cheer, they do HANDS and EYES–this is when all attention is focused on the teacher. Hands folded in lap, eyes focused on teacher.
I went to the Power Teaching Seminar recently and it was wonderful!!!
Does anyone have …
Does anyone have some examples of daily and weekly rewards for kinder?
