How does teaching preschool play a role in writing?
For my project, I need to explain how teaching preschool/ early childhood education plays a role in writing. I have researched it, but I am not sure how it does. Any suggestions?
I’ve been teaching for 25+ years and I am not sure. I’ve taught prekindergarten for 10 of those years and unless I am here answering questions, or on a pre-K yahoo group, it has not played a role in my writing.
I could make sense of the question if it asked how being enrolled in preschool played a role in a child learning to write, but not as it stands now.

preschool provides children to hopefully PLAY and when children play they learn the most.
When children engage in dramatic play it boost imagination which builds a foundation for reading and when children have an interest in words, and books they move into wanting to write words. Reading to children also builds a foundation of learning letters, and learning about the World around them.
i hope this makes sense it just rattled off the top of my head
