I’ve got to wonder … I’ve got to wonder if education is the new lie to replace religion when you describe the constant feed of money to an over educated minority in a shared world that doesn’t see a greater result in wealth. Do earners put more value in the world to keep those statistics for growth viable? I’m still riding the same Earth-cycle! This video seems like a validation of old school affirmations to progress at tempo despite the rapidly depleting wealth of natural resources. [Content needs attachment!]
attack dog is a dog … attack dog is a dog trained to attack anyone but its master as a security measure.
what i find helpful is looking up the definitions of words online (because i frequently dont know them) then i use them in a couple sentence and write them down in a word journal. after a couple weeks of this i’ll review the journal and see all the words i had trouble with before, maybe i forgot one or two and its a reminder.
20 years for school … 20 years for school and 20 years for retiretment..80-40=40..we are wasting half of our life for this…it seems stupid to me..i dont want to waste my life with school and work and after all that i will be an old that even if i have money and time i cannot enjoy it that much..
Where did you see ” … Where did you see “attack dog”? Was it a police or guard dog? A dog used for attacking?
Or it could be an order to attack the dog, though that’s a little strange.
If you try to focus … If you try to focus a bit more on the context, you might have more clues to what things such as “scratch paper” and “attack dog” are referring to. “Scratch paper” usually means paper you use for a first version of your writing or drawing, before you edit it or redraw a more definitive version. It’s also called a rough draft (the word rough reminds me of scratchy noises, I don’t know why, sort of like a pencil quickly scratching the paper’s surface.)
Have people … Have people actually done something useful such as give you a name of a professional that might help you find ways to cope with it? You should probably look for somebody who works with grammar structure, semantics and meanings, which may be where the problem lies and not in your listening. I don’t know, it’s just a guess based on someone I know with a similar problem to yours.
Now I am told 2 … Now I am told 2 improve my listening skills. Then, when I repeated back what 1 had said previously, the person looked surprised that my listening is in excellent shape, but my processing is shot. I have problems with people’s terminology. “You know what I mean.” “Uh, no, I don’t.” My mom once said she needed 2 go “by/buy a mailbox.” I still don’t understand what she meant. Purchase a box or put bills/letters in a public 1. ‘Scratch paper…’ Y would you do that? ‘Attack dog.’ Again, why?
This might sound a … This might sound a little weird, but what I do is “translate” info into a form that is more readily accesible to my styles of thinking. You could try and focus more on context, and the whole picture, and if you’re having trouble understanding spoken language very well at school, you’d have to take it up on your one with a good textbook. I can say it’s much more rewarding to learn things for yourself and by yourself.
Only a limited … Only a limited system can brand someone learning disbaled. We have multiple intelligences, and that’s fairly obvious. Schools and education have to evolve otherwise there will be less and less of a place for them, IMO.
If you have a … If you have a passion for it, it’s very important for you. If everyone did what society claims to be ‘important’ then we would be nothing more than socio-biological machines without any spark of free will at all. Although some people believe this is the case, I want to believe than we are at least sth a bit more than this.
Most people who are … Most people who are right brained learners tend to have strong Art talent, report clear visuall images and day dream a lot ( which is a good thing) it shows a high level of abstact thinking.
Many things we have today- Microwave ovens,Dishwashers, Television, were designed using high levels of abstact thought.
Read the book – In Their Own Way byThomas Armstrong . The book shatters the conventional wisdom that brands our students as “learning disabled”
My listening skills … My listening skills are intact. I just don’t process the info well at all. So instead of improving my education, I’m told to just “do what you can.” I have a very stubborn streak that says, “I can learn if it’s presented in a way I can understand,” but the school system [if that is a 'system'] denies those who ask for help.
Our education … Our education system needs to track students. I went to schools that catered to 10%. I never had a chance, and they made it so I couldn’t even get a normal job when I got out & broke me down mentally for years. I was pretty psycho. I hate them all and hope they burn. Say sorry after I soak you with kerosene. I don’t have learning problems, according to several professionals who did cognitive tests on me, but I’m super behind in thinking and education. Now I have real issues.
nice video…. but … nice video…. but i think its only showing a certain thing and forgeting the real picture though one thing is for sure…. never stop learning…lol and no matter how different we are we are all the same we are all winners and we are all learning lol amazing… cherish indeed one love…

Yeah, I shift it aside, when motivated (I’ve had my periods of that, once upon a time). School just isn’t good enough.
