Twitter in the classroom?
High schoolers at Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, Minn. are being engaged in the classroom in a whole new way. By using social media tools and giving them access to the Internet, students are able to learn in different ways. Having discussions about their English class online has increased their level of attention and engagement in their studies.

Seriously; there was a time (10 years ago) when the better mathematics students had no trouble reading and understanding an applications problem. Now, very few of them can, including those who can actually do the mathematics.

Twitter and Mac Books are all well and good, but it’s what we LEARN that is important. We are learning about all kinds of technology as well as all the other stuff that everyone else thinks is so cool. We are a school, a giant pool of information, that works together to create awesome stuff.
