How to turn a standard classroom into a world war 1/2 trench?
Hi, i have a open day at my school and my history teacher has asked me to turn a classroom into a trench, how can i do this. I saw Wildern school do the same but i don’t know how exactly i should do it, or what to use. Please could you help ASAP seeing it is this wednesday.
you need to bring sandbags, barbed wire, and machine guns to make a trench.
When I did that in school we turned our desks around and upside down to create our trenches with a "no-man’s land" in the middle. We then used balled up paper for bombs, etc. We had fun at first, then our teacher showed us a slide show of real trench footage and read some real memoirs of WWI vets. He turned out the lights and had us stay in our trenches througout the class. It was interesting.
