How much would it cost to rent a classroom sized unit for use as a cafe?

Im doing a business plan for coursework at college and can’t find prices for renting a classroom sized unit (around 1000 square feet) for use as a cafe. Doesnt matter whether its part of a unit or a stand alone building. I just can’t seem to find prices anywhere.
Does anyone know how much it would cost?

Apologies, this question is being re-posted because an error meant it didnt post complete last time.

Thanks.

No-one can answer that question without a lot more information.
It depends where you live, where exactly the unit would be, who it would be rented from, what facilities would be included etc etc.

Do an on-line search for studio or warehouse space and you will get loads of results.

You don’t say which area you live in.

Where are you looking to buy this unit? Location is all.

Added costs would come from having to buy or change leases, and for getting planning permission if the unit you’re buying or renting isn’t already being leased or sold as a commercial unit. If you’re making a college business plan, you might like to show that you’ve thought of such things as part of the cost of buying the business.

Contact your local government office – they can usually tell you the retail value of various retail units in your area. Failing that, ask some real estate agents for details of commercial units being leased or sold.

I had a cafe about that size in a prime tourist area (so high rents). My lease cost me 25k a year. if it was up a side street somewhere with not a lot of passing trade it could be anywhere from 6k to 10k. It really does depend on the area.
There are commercial sites ie. daltons .com, or business’s for sale which should give you the rental.
