Written by Duffy for the soundtrack of “An Education”.

If I’d known you were cheating me,
I would have saved myself and set you free.
If I learned you weren’t the loving kind,
I would have saved some peace of mind.
My friends told me you would break my heart,
And never last, we would surely part.
There’s no smoke without fire,
Baby, baby you’re a liar.
People talk in this little town,
Rumours keep spreading all around.
And now word has it you’ve been foolin’ me,
I’m so blind that I cannot see.
My friends told me never to believe in you,
You never loved me you were never true.
There’s no smoke without fire,
Baby, baby you’re a liar.
No there’s no smoke without fire.
Baby, baby you’re a liar.
You’re a liar
You’re a liar
You’re a liar
Baby you’re a liar.
There’s no light without a flame,
There’s no use in having you to blame.
No
There’s no smoke without fire.
Baby, baby you’re a liar.
You’re a liar

What are some good strategies to get a toddler to behave?
I work with a 2 year old child. He often misbehaves, does not listen and throws things. Now I know what being 2 years old means developmentally and all about the terrible 2′s and such. Now my question is… what are some good strategies to promote positive behavior from him? Time out is currently being used as a consequence for negative behavior. We are going to try using little favored snacks as a reward. But what are some other things to do with a child at this age group- who’s also not talking yet either? Thanks.
whoop his ass. plain and simple. when he’s misbehaving, give him a little pop on the wrist and sternly tell him no.
if he continues pop him a few more times and send him to time out.
or get a shoe (preferably a slipper) and pop him on the buttocks.
its discipline. Don’t let the kid run over you. It’s not abuse. It is abuse when you’re doing it out of anger but this is discipline. He’s two years old and YOU’RE the adult. Who makes the decisions and gets to do what they please? Not him.
If you don’t he’ll be another snotty kid walking around for me to knock some sense into.
